Through our podcast and various other initiatives, we are dedicated to providing resources, support, and opportunities for independent artists to succeed.

Jessica Northey, Music Business Coach, Designer, and Podcast Host

Jessica C. Northey, an Army Veteran who served as a Signal Operations Support Specialist (25U). Her journey from the military to the entertainment industry has been nothing short of exciting and rewarding. Northey holds a B.S. in Entertainment Business and an M.A. in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University, where she was honored as a Salutatorian, Advanced Achiever, and received multiple Course Director Awards, including Artist Management.

Over the years, Northey has worn many hats in the entertainment world. At Not Only Noise Entertainment, she researched touring venues, crafted press releases, and managed outreach emails for indie artists. During the Florida Music Festival's Florida Grammy Showcase, she worked as an Artist Assistant and Event Runner. Her time at Plush Recording Studios was serving as an Assistant to the Studio Manager and Intern. Additionally, with PL Presents, she was a freelance graphic designer and assistant to the Artist Manager for Erykah Badu.

Stephen Welhaf, Audio Engineer, Podcast Producer and Co-Host

Steve Welhaf is an independent audio engineer and music producer from Philadelphia, PA. He began his musical journey as a trumpet player in middle school and continued his classical training through the first few years of college.

Since 2010, Welhaf has been producing and performing all kinds of Electronic Dance Music under various monikers. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Production from Full Sail University and is currently in the process of launching his new music project, titled 'Just Walt.' Steve is incredibly excited to share his 13+ years of knowledge and experience as an artist while also learning more about independent artist culture and management with everyone.
